The Little Catholic Featured on Catholic Faith Network: A Conversation on Faith, Craftsmanship, and Calling
Last month, The Little Catholic had the honor of being featured on Catholic Faith Network, where Priscilla sat down with Father Gerald Murray to share the heart, mission, and story behind our brand. For a small, family-run studio built on faith, craftsmanship, and devotion, this interview was more than a media moment — it was a milestone.
A Conversation Rooted in Faith
During the interview, Priscilla shared the origin story of The Little Catholic: how the business began with a single paycheck, a simple desire to create something meaningful, and a newfound love for the Catholic faith. What started as making rosaries for family and friends grew into a full jewelry studio devoted to honoring the beauty of Catholic tradition through heirloom-quality pieces.
The conversation touched on what drives our work — the desire to create sacramentals and devotional jewelry that help people pray, remember, and stay connected to Christ in their everyday lives. From the Holy Family Hearts® collection to handcrafted rosaries, each design is born from prayer, sketching, and collaboration with skilled American artisans who share our sense of reverence.
Why This Interview Matters
Appearing on Catholic Faith Network is deeply meaningful for us for many reasons:
- It affirms the heart of our mission: to bring beauty and devotion into daily life through thoughtfully crafted pieces.
- It connects us with Catholics who value meaningful sacramentals and want to support artisans creating them with care and purpose.
- It highlights what sets us apart: Made in America craftsmanship, ethical production, original designs, and a genuine love for the faith.
For many small Catholic businesses, moments like this can feel out of reach. But this interview is a reminder that God opens doors in His time — especially when your mission aligns with His.
Behind the Scenes: A Studio Built on Heart and Handwork
In the interview, Priscilla shared how every piece — from our 14k gold collections to our sterling silver medals — begins as an idea sketched by hand and brought to life through small-batch casting and finishing. Most of our pieces are made within 50 miles of our Southern California studio, allowing us to be part of every step: design, molding, casting, polishing, and finally, packaging with care.
We also craft all of our rosaries by hand. These rosaries remain one of our most personal offerings — a reminder that prayer is at the center of everything we do.
A Milestone for Our Community
This interview wasn’t just a moment for The Little Catholic — it was a moment for our entire community. For every customer who wears our pieces at baptisms, weddings, funerals, confirmations, and ordinary days in between… this was for you.
Your stories, your devotion, your belief in our mission are what allow us to continue creating meaningful Catholic jewelry in a world that needs beauty and hope.
